Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary
Program for golf courses
National
Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC) is the first golf course in Singapore to achieve designation as a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" by the
Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System (ACSS), the educational division of Audubon International.

Audubon International is a not-for-profit environmental organisation that specialises in sustainable resource management. The Resort joined the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses (ACSP) in 1999 upon recognising the potential of our golf courses in contributing positively to the environment.
Managed by Audubon International, ACSP educates and encourages golf course managers and superintendents to be actively involved in protecting and enhancing wildlife habitats and conserving and sustaining nature resource on their courses.
In order to achieve certification, a course must demonstrate that they are maintaining a high degree of environmental quality in six areas namely environmental planning, wildlife & habitat management, integrated pest management, water conservation, water quality management and outreach & education.
In the past year, James Sua, CGCS Manager (Course Maintenance) of
NSRCC and his team, guided by the Audubon Program, have been actively involved in various projects to improve the quality of life and environment in our golf courses.
Achieving the award demonstrates the Resort's strong commitment and high standards of environmental management. To date, only one other Asian course, located in the Philippines has achieved certification in the program.
