Environmental Steward Awards

for Year 1999

for Year 2000

for Year 2001

For the third year running, Course Maintenance Manager, James Sua, CGCS, was honoured with the Environmental Steward Award (ESA) by the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America (GCSAA) for his dedication in enriching the quality of the courses at NSRCC for the benefit of wildlife, golfers and their surrounding communities.  Come this year, through the accumulation of all his past hard works, he earned the international Environmental Leaders in Golf Award for NSRCC, the second country club in Asia to do so.

The ESA program provides a forum for superintendents to showcase their environmental efforts and be honoured for the strides they made in stewarding environmental concerns at their golf courses.

James' achievements demonstrate the Resort's efforts in promoting environmental responsibility, conservation and enhancement on the golf courses and at the same time puts NSRCC in the frontline together with other international advocates. James first received the country award in 2001, a chapter award in 2000 and a merit award in 1999.
