Wildlife Habitats Layout
The wildlife habitats in our golf course can be categorised into 4 major zones:

Zone A: This major habitat is located near the 4th fairway of the Navy course.  The trees are of common species, i.e. Casuarinas, Wild Cinnamomum, Fagraea Spp. & Sea hibiscus.  One can find little herons, grey herons and monitor lizards in this area.

Zone B: This backdrop of Casuarinas equisetifolia is situated at Army course 1st green. This area is untouched to provide birds with a resting and breeding ground.  Herons have made their nest up on the tall Casuarinas trees.  Colourful butterflies are seen here regularly.

Zone C: This is the third major area, which is located in between the 7th and the 8th fairway of the Air-force course. The common trees are Samanea saman, Khaya senegalensis and Cinnamomum iners. Some young trees were planted to enhance the habitat of that area.

Zone D: Located near the 2nd fairway of the Air-force course, the whole area of habitat has trees, Shrubs, and ground cover grasses. Some trees like Casuarinas, Tabebuia rosea, & Dalbergia oliveri were planted by us to enhance the wild habitats.
