DANGEROUS PLAY

Golfers should always perform checks to ensure that players in front are well out of range when taking a stroke. If a ball is played in a direction where there is danger of hitting someone, the player should immediately shout ‘FORE’.

Any golfer who disregards the above and engage in dangerous play on the golf course are liable for disciplinary action which includes being issued with a warning, a fine, or being suspended from using the club’s golf courses in accordance with the club’s bye-laws.

Showing a little consideration for others and abiding by the rules makes the game more enjoyable and safe for all.

USGA Handicapping System Requirements

The USGA Handicapping System mandates an automatic submission of penalty score/s equal to the Lowest Handicap Differential in all scoring records as a result of non-submission of scorecards. In this regard, we would like to remind all members to submit their scorecards every time they play a round of 9 or 18 holes golf game at NSRCC golf course as well as games played in other “away” courses.

WEEKEND/PUBLIC HOLIDAY GOLF BOOKING

We wish to inform you that effective 1st August 2009, the following flights (9-Hole only) for Weekends/Public Holidays will be available for members' booking with a minimum 2 balls instead of the usual minimum 3 balls.

Alternate Monday Closure Of 18 holes For KSGC

Kranji Sanctuary Golf Course will be implementing Alternate Monday Closure of the 18-hole instead of the usual 9-hole for maintenance. With this change, members will be able to play and enjoy a full 18-hole game on alternate Mondays.

LOCAL RULES ON USE OF RANGEFINDERS

Golfers are permitted to use electronic rangefinders or any other devices that measure distance only during our in-house tournaments. However, the use of device that gauge or measure other conditions that might affect a golfer’s play (e.g., wind or gradient) are not permitted.

GOLF BUGGIES

Players shall check for damage to the buggy and inform the steward of any defects. At the end of the game, players shall return the buggy to the steward who will check for any damage before accepting it. Please refer to BYE-LAWS (Part 4 Clause 18) for more details. Members will be able to key in their golf scores online.  To enter your score, simply login to the Handicap Service menu with your membership number and password. The system will prompt you to enter the details on your scorecard. Click here for details.
