| Transfer of Management for NSRCC Sea Sports Centre NSRCC had been operating the Sea Sports Centre since 1997 with significant operating deficits. To curb this drain on resources, it had been decided to transfer management of the Centre to the SAF Yacht Club (SAFYC) from 1 Apr 2003. SAFYC has a larger pool of sailors and the skills sets to run the Centre better for the benefit of all sea-sports enthusiasts. With this arrangement, NSRCC members can continue to enjoy their privileges at the Centre as follows: - Discounts at F&B outlets; However, NSRCC would cease selling Sea Sports memberships. Existing Sea Sports Members would be given the following options with regards to their term memberships: a. Option 1 - Terminate membership and NSRCC would refund the balance entrance fees unrealised; b. Option 2 - Continue till the end of the membership's term and continue to enjoy the above privileges. NSRCC would continue to charge monthly subscriptions fees; and c. Option 3 - Convert to SAFYC's membership. (This option is for citizens and PRs only.) Cut-off date for any of the above options to be exercised is six months before the expiry of current membership term. Applicable to existing Sea Sports Members whose membership terms would expire on 30 Oct 2003 onwards. If you have any further queries on your Sea Sports membership, please contact Membership Executive, Ms Vanessa Ang at 6540 8552. |
